Tour News — Men's All Pro Tour (2024)

With the 2023 All Pro Tour schedule closing, our 2024 lineup of events is set.

The 2024 season will boast 11 tournaments and will start as it has for 15 years in Alexandria, LA. The co*ke Dr. Pepper Open, the longest-running event on tour at 26 years, will be held at Links on the Bayou, March 20-23. Last year’s event seemed all too familiar for Cooper Dossey, who defended his title from 2022. Dossey’s victory includes a course record 58, which is the lowest round in the 31 history of the APT.

Next, the APT moves an hour further south to Kinder LA for the Coushatta Casino Championship at Koasati Pines, March 27-30. The 7,600-yard Koasati Pines layout is the longest the APT plays and will test the best pro.

The APT moves into Texas in April, sandwiching two events around the Korn Ferry Tour’s Veritex Bank Championship Monday qualifier in Dallas on April 22. The Birdies on the Bayou in Brownwood, TX, will be April 15-18; the name says it all. Birdies are abundant at Brownwood CC. In 2023, Tanner Napier shot 26 under par to win by two. After the Korn Ferry’s Monday Q in Dallas, the APT hosts the Firewheel Classic in Garland, TX, April 24-27.

May will host a fan favorite on tour - The United Way Classic. Hosted at one of Arkansas’ best tracks, Hardscrabble Country Club hosted the Fort Smith Classic ( Tour) for 13 years. Previous United Way Classic champions include Sam Stevens, Brandon McIver, Andreas Halvorsen, and 2023 champion Luke Long. The APT then moves west to Muskogee, OK, May 22-25 for the Real Okie Championship. 23 Champ, Sam Fidone, shot 23 under par and won his third Real Okie title in four years.

June is a busy month with three events. The Southwest Kansas Pro-Am in Garden City, KS, June 6-8, kicks off the month. This year’s event will be a 54-hole event with an ATnT Pro-Am format. After the stop in Kansas, the APT moves south to Duncan, OK, June 12-15 for the Territory Classic. Brandon Smith won his first APT event during the rain-plagued week shooting 18 under par. The tournament is hosted at the Territory Golf Club, a 7100 championship-style course.

The final event in June has been described as ‘A Mini Tour Event Like No Other’. The OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois Classic, June 26-29, has a Celebrity Pro-Am, a drone show, concerts on the range, and a formidable 7,100-yard par 70 host, Metamora Fields GC. University of Oklahoma grad Charlie Saxon stood out this year with an incredible 25 under-par winning score.

July will see a familiar stop in Texarkana, Arkansas, and Texas. That's right, the tournament is played over two courses, one being in Arkansas and the other in Texas. The Texarkana Children Charities Open will be held July 10-13 at Northridge CC and Texarkana CC. TCC is known as the ‘Augusta of Texas’ and never disappoints. The tournament will again boast the largest field of the season, with 180 pros from across the globe. Chad Sewell bested the 186-player field shooting 17 under par for the four days..

The 2024 All Pro Tour season concludes at the Oklahoma Championship in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, August 27-30. The Clubs at Indian Springs has hosted five previous APT champions, including the PGA Tour’s Nick Hardy. The tournament will be players' last chance to prepare for the toughest test in golf - PGA Q-School!
